Hey beauties! Does anyone have a suggestion for foundation? My face starts out fine and then through out the day it gets super oily even though I use Urban Decay oil control setting spray. Any help would be much appreciated! Please and thank you.

Blotting sheets are going to be your best friend. But what foundation are you using? The ingredients in it could possibly be the culprit and sending your skin into overdrive. I have oily/combo skin and I have some foundation in my collection that sends me to overproduce oil if I use it in let's say dead of summer but I'm fine using it in winter when the cooler temps actually have me producing less oil. Murad Mattifying Lotion SPF15 is something that I reach for sometimes when I don't want to worry about oil. It survived the worst weather in FL when temps reached over 100 degrees with insane humidity. I use it in place of a primer sometimes...the stuff is that good. If that isn't an option...check out a primer...my skin likes Hourglass Mineral Veil Primer. Don't brutalize your skin with a bunch of products to cancel out the oil...when you reach my age you will appreciate because oily skin actually ages at a much slower rate than dry skin.

I use the rimmel stay matte foundation and powder and my skin Is insanely oily
But like Shelley said I'd look for a good primer too
And also for the blotting papers, I use those all the time but it got expensive to re purchase over and over again so what I tried was toilet seat covers
I
They're a dollar for a pack of five and that lasts me 2 weeks
They work just the same!!

Also, if you want to do the toilet seat covers (my gf does that) you can cut them up to size and store a ton in an altoid or similar container. You could also sprinkle with rice powder or whatever blotting ingredient you like and shake, cost them etc. : )

I get very oily in some areas of my face and have been really loving the Clinique acne solutions BB cream. It is fabulous and holds up really well for me in my oiliness! I think the coverage is fantastic for a BB cream also, I can easily get a medium coverage with it.

I've been using just drugstore Madeline foundation I can't remember the actual name but it's in a glass bottle with a pump. I use bare minerals primer. Where would I get blotting papers? I'm totally open to spending a little more if it means I can get my oily t zone under control. It's mainly my entire forehead cheeks and chin. Sometimes my nose is actually dry and flaky. My skin is so weird

The boscia blotting papers are really fabulous, you can get them at Sephora. I love the Clean & Clear ones though, and they are about half the price. You can get those at any drugstore, Target, Walmart, etc. Usually find them in the skin care section.

Thank you Kati! Does the Clinique acne solutions BB cream give a full coverage look or is it kind of sheer? I have extremely rosy cheeks so I like to cover them as much as possible and create a more chiseled look with contouring.

The best one I found to not make my face oily is the Ben nye translucent powder. it's really cheap and you get a lot of product. my make up does not move and my t zone doesn't look oily through out the day.
