Light colours look great but dark colours do work! Try some dark colours mixed with some light colours! Do the lid a light colour but the crease a dark colour :)

I have light blue eyes and warm browns with or without gold undertones look GREAT. So do warm oranges or browns with rich orange undertones look amazing also. OH I have been LOVING warm plumish reddish shadows for my outer v and crease, looks amazing(:
