Mixing an oil with foundation?

I have oily skin and I currently use Hourglass Veil Mineral primer and L'Oreal True Match foundation. I've read a lot about mixing an oil into your foundation or just putting it on your skin before foundation. I've heard that it can help people with oily skin because usually your skin is lacking oil which is why it's overproducing oil on the skin. I have Josie Maran Argan Oil and I was wondering if that would go well with my face products? or do you suggest anything different?

I don't see why it wouldn't! I use jojoba oil and it's been helping cut down on my oil a bit. I don't mix with my foundation though, I put it on about 30 minutes before I do my makeup to make sure it fully absorbs. If I was a little heavy-handed, I just blot before I put my makeup on.

Thank you! I think I will try it before my foundation. I've noticed when I put it on overnight that my face isn't oily at all when I wake up.
