I'm trying to decide which holiday makeup palette to get. I'm stuck between the Tarte Light of the Party and Too Faced Le Grand Chateau. Please comment your likes/dislikes about each in the comments below!

I would get the Too Faced Le grand chateau! I love the way it looks and that it comes with both eyeshadow, blush, bronzer and mascara! My great friend Pam M who us also here on BL bought this and she looves it! Let's hope she can join in to tell you something about it :)
I saw a review on the tarte palette where they were somewhat disappointed with the big eyeshadow palette but really liked the smaller palette inside the big one!
I know you shouldn't go of a review, but when both palettes are so cute it's hard to make a choice!

Ooooo le grande chateau!! I love it. But lets face it...its a little house!! Amazing. But seriously though the quality of the shadows is amazing. Really good. With a good range of mattes and glitters. They are very chalky in texture however so a lot is lost in the pans but I have to say I really like it. And the little mascara is an awesome addition.

Honestly I looked at reviews and swatched them both in the store and I wasn't impressed. I had intended to buy both but the quality was not good. Very patchy, dusty and not pigmented. So disappointed because they look so pretty!

DO NOT GET THE TARTE ONE. Lol, but really don't. I was only have one other Tarte palette and love it and was so excited to buy the holiday set, but was extremely disappointing! All the colors look the same, very chalky, not very pigmented, just really disappointing. The only reason I kept it was because of the packaging and the brush, I should've returned it, but it was too late when I decided I really hated it, because I spent about 3 weeks trying to love it but I just can't.
Anyways I absolutely LOVE the Too Faced set! Go for that one! I've had it for about a month and am so glad I bought it. I have the Le Grand Chateau, but the others look nice too.
Definitely skip Tarte's because it was awful.

Lol Lisa. I also saw the reviews about the tarte set saying the big pallette sucks but the small one is good. I also prefer the too faced but look for swatches because I remember wanting to get it but being stopped by reviews.
