You can use concealer or the pretty pink foundation it's meant for kids I think

Honestly, I think if your mom is uncomfortable it's for a reason. Your parents are your parents and although it is your face you do still have to respect their wishes as you're still young and their child. I don't think wanting to hide your freckles is a good reason to start wearing foundation as you are young and should be learning to love them. I believe the reason to start using makeup shouldn't be because you wanna hide something you dislike but because you already love your features and want to experiment with them. I would listen to your mom, especially with you age you are probably going through or just went through puberty so your skin can be more sensitive to cosmetics and prone to breakouts

What about a tinted moisturizer? It won't cover your freckles but maybe it's a compromise your mom may agree to. A lot of mothers & men think they don't like girls or women to wear foundation, but what they really don't like is if they can tell if you're wearing it. If it is applied well and you use the right product, you won't be able to notice it.

I agree with Marleen. Tinted moisturizer will give you nice, natural coverage while hydrating your skin AND you can get one with broad spectrum SPF to protect your skin from the sun's damaging rays...and relay those skin health benefits to your mom. You can maybe pick up a few samples to try under her guidance.

I also agree with Marleen that that would be a good compromise - But on the other hand I also just think you should listen to your mom.
You are only 13, and I think your mom sounds like a cool mom that lets you wear a lot of makeup for your age and proberbly more then a lot of others get to. So if foundation is to much for her right nowl I think you should just wait a few years and respect her feeling :) You have your whole life to wear foundation - no need to rush.

If you have flawless skin, let it breathe! Foundation looks good in the moment (not always though, it can look very cakey and unnatural) but will clog your pores and make your skin dull, unless you use a noncomodegenic product. I have freckles and I was insecure about them for a while, but now I absolutely LOVE them! Freckles looked very sun-kissed and naturally pretty. But if you feel strongly about them, use a tinted moisturizer. It's one part moisturizer and one part foundation, so it looks sheer but offers some coverage. Try Aveeno's Naturally Beautiful line (I think that's what it's called) and make sure the one you buy has SPF, to protect your skin for the future :) xx

If you really do have flawless skin, then there's no need to cover it up with makeup! embrace those freckles girl!! and plus, you're mom is super cool for letting you wear makeup. I was only allowed mascara at your age!

I would listen to your mom. I'm 13 and I can wear wear concealer, blush, eyeshadow, mascara, and highlight but I can't wear foundation. But from wearing face makeup, it does make you break out sometimes. I recommend to let your face breath, because foundation can be heavy and clog your pores. I would be thankful that our moms let us wear this much makeup! And freckles are super cute too!

Listen to her! When I was your age I wasn't allowed to wear ANY makeup and I'm happy I didn't. You can already wear a lot and trust me foundation doesn't really cover freckles it just makes them look really muddy and bad

So much great advice! Wise ladies paying Mom respect...and providing valuable points to ponder.
Erin, I think it is very thoughtful and sweet the manner in which you respect your Mom. I know a certain Doctor who would surely say that like bow ties and fez's, "Freckles are cool". ;)

I'm 13 and I only wear foundation occasionally. I don't really wear it because I have sensitive skin and my skin will react weird but if you want to I would recommend a good moisturizer, primer, face wash, and makeup remover.
