Is nude makeup the best thing for school?

I would say the best thing for school is whatever you feel confident in. Wether that be no makeup or a bold lip.

What if you are starting to wear makeup at school.

I would start gradually with mascara, eyeliner, natural eyeshadow etc.

If you're just starting out, I say it's better to start natural and build up to being more bold. As long as you're comfortable and confident, that's what matters :)

I would say start in what you feel good in. If you don't want to jump into wearing other makeup colors than start wearing natural colors and gradually move into bolder colors.

I'd suggest getting a few products that you like and experiment a bit at home and then if you like it, wear it out and to school, whatever that may be, as long as you're feeling comfortable. :) personally I would start out with just mascara, bb cream, a light brow product and a tinted lip balm, and then build around it depending on which area you would like to experiment with, e.g. eyeshadow or lipstick. :)

What ever you feel comfortable in is what's best.

I would start out experimenting and trying out different products. Then just keep gradually adding. Or you can wear whatever you feel right because there is nothing too right or wrong. I'm in 8th grade too and my makeup varies day to day. But I would say I wear a lot for my age because I love playing with makeup. Just do what feels right (:

LD how old are you? I feel like the amount and the look of makeup also depends on how old you are and what grade you are in!

The first things I started out with was mascara, eyeliner (who remembers burning the tip of the Maybelline eyeliner to make it more intense) & lip gloss (who remembers KISSING POTION). Ha! Ha! Nobody here I'll bet! Those 3 items were quick & easy to use, and they don't require a lot of precision. Good for beginners. Plus, when I first started wearing makeup, I used to hate people saying to me "oh, you're wearing makeup' all time. Even the same people would say it everytime they saw me. How annoying. So, I would start out slowly.
