I can't fill in my eyebrows.

Hi girls. My whole life I've had an obsession with my eyebrows, I've always been overly self conscious about them! In 6th grade I went as far as to SHAVE them into these little tiny strips! Yikes!
I've been growing them out for years now and they have a pretty decent shape, but I want them to be defined and sharp and no matter what, they either look "dirty" or I look like I drew my brows on with a crayon (EW).
I've tried everything; pencils, eyeshadows, brow powder.. Several different colors, kits, products.. They just never seem to turn out right ):
I've followed just about every tutorial I can find. I'm at a loss and most days I feel very ugly and self conscious because of my brows. What on earth can I do?

I would clean them up first, get them professionally waxed and explain that you want a clean up but not to shape them. I find that when I have little hairs here and there it really adds up and tends to make my brow makeup look "dirty"

Right now I am using Too Faced's Brow Envy kit, the color brunette, and it seems almost as if it's too... Brown, maybe? My eyebrows look sort of gray to me, they're not really black, and not really brown. Not even sure of what color to use. Thank you for your advice!

You're a beautiful girl! It's hard to tell on my phone, as I can't enlarge the picture, but it looks to me like they may start too far apart from the center. The color looks fine from what I can see.

Have you tried the too faced bulletproof brow gel in Burnette? and the anastasia brow wiz? This combo gives me the most natural yet defined brows.

I shaved mine off too at one stage and mine still haven't grown back, like 5 years later and I still over pluck cause I can't stannnnnddd stray hairs so needless to say, I'm stuck in the sparse and thin brows department lol! But honestly it's just practice, some days I really have a terrible time filling them in because I have to make a whole new shape pretty much and they're so blonde it's even harder haha! What I do to try and make mine look a little less drawn on is to fill in from the outer half of your brow first, I start in the middle of my brow and make the shape of my tail, after that I'll fill in the front of my brow but only with what's left on the brush and maybe a lighter powder instead of the same shade you previously used on the tale.

I have very ashy toned brown brows and I find lots of stuff is far too warm for my brows. I use the W7 10 out of 10 The Browns palette (pictured), I use the shade on the top row, far right. It's very ashy toned, which I like! I do mine with an angled brush and a spoolie, starting from the tail and working inwards, doing light, short strokes.

I think they look fine honestly - not as bad as the "instabrow" where they have it light then transition to a real harsh drawn on brow - that to me looks super unnatural - when I want mine to look natural I just use a powder in charcoal color and just fill in within my natural brow lines - I don't go outside the natural brow hairs - especially in the front and I feel that looks the most natural

Thanks, you girls are great! I honestly might be over-analyzing them because I've always been so insecure of them. @Shaye, have you tried putting coconut or castor oil on your brows to help them grow back? It worked wonders for me! @Hannah, I think maybe I have the same problem so thanks so much for your input, I think maybe an ashy tone on my brows would suit me much better.
I will try a few of the products that you girls have listen and I will see what I can do. @Aryans, your comment made my day! Thank you so much girly, you're a sweetheart. I'll head to Ulta and seek some advice as well. Thank you everyone!!

Have you tried Anastasia Beverly Hills? I have tried basically every brow product drugstore and highend and ABH is my favorite. I think the shape of your brows look nice bur maybe try to bring them in more. I have struggled with filling in my eyebrows for the last couple of years and the best thing that I have recently started trying is, instead of doing a line of brow pencil across the top or bottom of the brow, make upwards strokes. This will help mimic real hairs. Then I fill in basically doing the same upward strokes with powder. I use ABH Brow Wiz and Brow Powder (I also sometime use Dipbrow which is also amazing but kinda tricky to work with at first because of the texture). I think you need a lighter brown instead of the one you are using. Our eyebrows should be two shades lighter than our hair color (for dark hair) and two shades darker (for light hair/blonde). Also try focusing on filling in the ends first and then work your way towards the inside so its not all just one harsh color. And like some others mentioned, don't try to fill in above, just fill in the the natural hairs you have. I was looking at your profile pics and one of the pics you have although your brows are barely showing, they look really nice. I think all you really need to do is fill in with a much lighter hand.

I struggle doing my brows EVERY.DAY. I hate it so I feel your pain girl. I don't think your brows look drawn on at all. I am constantly experimenting with products but my staples are Anastasia Brow Wiz pencil in Light Brown and Benefit Brow Zing in Medium. I apply with Sigma small angle brush. Finish off with Anastasia clear gel. I have been doing my brows for about 2 years now and still find this is what takes me the longest in my makeup routine. Good luck to you!
