Hey guys! So I'm really known for how long my eyelashes are. Everyone is always asking if I have in fake eyelashes, but I feel like they're falling out! Or getting shorter! All I wear is mascara, and I put on Vaseline at night, but I'm so worried that I'm going to run out of eyelashes lol! 😫 I prime them and then put on mascara! Any other tips?!

Make sure you remove all mascara at night! Also don't use waterproof mascara except when you need it. Take a break from mascara and from curling your lashed because both can cause really bad breakage.

One thing to do is to get a clean mascara brush. And dip in olive oil. If you keep that routine by applying it like mascara for a couple weeks you will have healthy long lashes. I lose lashes if I wear too much mascara watch what brand you are using.

Some mascara is bad for your lashes.

A family member lost many of hers due to a health issue, but first, let's try to rule that out by changing your habits.
Use only mascara that isn't waterproof for now. You want to avoid having to rub your eyes as much as possible.
Using a natural oil that is safe for use around the eyes..lightly go in circular motions. Cold Pressed Virgin Coconut Oil contains natural antibacterial properties so it is a great choice for removing eye make up. Ponds cold cream is actually a great option.
Then, wipe off the product ever so gently with a cool, wet cottonball. Then, wash your face with a gentle cleanser and pat dry.
Use your toner or moisturizer as normal, avoiding the delicate eye area.
Since Vaseline is a sealant you are not adding moisture to your lashes and put yourself at risk of an eye infection. Instead, my own preference is to bring back that unrefined Coconut oil and ising your fingertips, smooth down on your lashes with your eyes closed. This will help your brittle lashes and again, Coconut Oil is safe to use around the eyes. If after 2 weeks you see no difference and the loss is substantial or you have a serious amount of breakage, I'd consult a licensed Derm with experience in hair, skin and nails to rule out health issues.

If it were me, I'd skip the mascara as much as possible and look for a formula that conditions lashes. Best of luck to you.

Vaseline is a no no for eyelashes- if you want them to grow, try smartlash or latisse. Anything the other ladies mentioned will help as well. I think the Vaseline was clogging your pores and cuticles around or on your eyelashes.

Yes honey this is a no no please don't put vasline on your eyes because your lashes will grow weak and fall out!

My eyelashes were really long an falling out but I used some caster oil, mixed in with a little coconut oil and vitamin e! You pop this on on the top and bottom of your water line on both lashes with a Q tip then put some on your lashes! This helps them to grow, and get stronger and this has really worked for me!:)
