So I started getting white patches on my stomach and a Lil on my chest. I'm so confused on what this is. here's a picture you can hardly see it but if any of you gals can help me that would be great (:

Thats dry skin or it could be eczema thats what I have the white patches use jock itch or even like aveno.

Have you had a sunburn lately on your stomach? I have patches like this on my body from sun burns.

Could also be the start of vitiligo. Might be best to see your GP or dermatologist for a definitive answer.

I have that on my back and am going to the derm for it. It's most likely just a yeast issue. Sounds gross but totally normal.

It sounds weird, but I have a skin condition where my skin doesn't exfoliate itself properly so it just kinda sticks to my body, but it kinda looks like that, where the parts I've manually exfoliates are white and the parts that I haven't are darker. It's hard to tell from a photo, but it looks similar to what happens to me, the darker patches usually feel a bit rough. But I also can't tell if you're pale or tanned skin naturally from the picture. I'd definitely go to your derm though

It comes and goes like when I go to the gym and sweat the next day the patches appear :(

Yhep then I'd say it's a yeast issue. It arises even more when there's an imbalance of the skins pH and sweating is a common cause for it. The derm has like skin shampoo for it.

Definitely go to a derm, just to be sure of what it is and that it's not something serious.
But the same thing happens when I sweat a lot, in the summer it's crazy bad. But all my derm did was give me a chemical exfoliater that's for heavy acne scars and I mix a little into some lotion and put it on those areas about an hour before I shower, rinse it off and it's all gone.

Did you ever figure out what it is, because my 19 year old daughter showed me her stomach and it has the same type of discoloration, just not as much, it's only on her stomach.
