My hair is natural dark brown & so I did my highlights 3days ago I did them light brown and it seems Evey time I wash my hair it seems like its getting lighter like a blondish gold color is this normal? :o.

Yes it's very normal. Assuming your hair was highlighted properly there is a tone in there to make that color pretty, which unfortunately fades with every wash. This is why professionals tell you not to wash for a couple days when you get color done. Hope this cleared things up for you :)

I agree it's normal - dying your hair is permanent but the color saturation is not permanent - it fades over time - and you usually need to touch it up about once a month - and especially if they died it blonde first then put the actual color on top of the blonde the color will fade to blonde pretty much every time - you can help it fade slower by using less heat on your hair (less blow drying and straightening and use cold water when you wash it) also invest in a heat protectant spray to apply before you use any heat tools if you have to - also washing less helps - if you can wash every 3-4 days instead of every day that usually helps.

I like to use the Nexxus pre wash color insurance I think its called. Really helps the color from fading as fast.
