I've been wanting it for forever so I got a deluxe sized sample. I mixed in my manic panic dream tone foundation (a white foundation) to make it match me. I put it on a mattifying primer on my tzone and sprayed fix+ on my skin (before the primer) I applied the foundation with a damp makeup wedge. I have oily skin and this did not last! I only wore it for about 5 hours and I was shiny! I usually get at least 6-8 with my revlon Colorstay! I'm wondering if it was the fix + or manic panic? This was my first time using all 3. I set it with my usual coty airspun loose face powder. This foundation is supposed to be great for oily skin! Help!

Estee Lauder Double Wear uses Cyclopentasiloxane which is a silicone commonly found amongst high end primers to help foundation last longer and apply beautifully, so your primer might be affecting it somehow if it's being over done... What primer are you using?
I would try applying it without the Manic Panic foundation adjuster as that may be affecting the wear of the foundation.
Did you allow the Fix+ to dry before applying? It's water based so that may contribute to it not agreeing with the silicone since you are applying it before hand especially if its wet.

I would wear the foundation alone with a setting powder and see how it comes up. It's not necessary to apply so many products before hand for some foundations especially with a foundation like this that already contains high quality ingredients.
