So I really want a powder foundation for school. I thought it would make it so much faster to be able to put on concealer, then just to set it with a foundation so I won't have to take the time for liquid foundation, and since I have to set concealer anyway, I may as well just add some extra coverage too, but I would like it to be in a compact so if I have to do my makeup in the car I'll be able to. I was looking at a couple Mac ones, the Clinique superpowder double face, the Kat Von D one, and the Bare Minerals Blemish Ready foundation. I have pretty normal skin. I have my dryish areas, and my oilyish areas, but it's acne prone. Thanks in advanced!

My friend used to use the bare minerals one and it broke her out super bad and she's never had a problem with makeup doing that before.

The Micabella mineral powder foundation will forever be one of my holy grails. It is 100% mineral (not mineral BASED like some) so it is technically pure enough to sleep in, which I don't recommend but it does say a lot about the foundation hahaha. As with any pure mineral makeup, it does have a slight shimmer to it, though I find that it just gives the powder a more natural finish. This foundation is extremely full coverage and can be applied throughout the day without looking cakey thanks to its fine milled texture and finish.

Also, with your oiler areas I do suggest using a mattefying primer underneath.

I use the mary Kay mineral powder foundation and it is pretty quick but it is a loose powder it doesn't break me out and has great coverage😄

I honestly love the ulta mineral foundation because liquid foundations make my freckles look weird and this foundation covers blemishes but my freckles still look goo

I have acne prone and dry skin specifically my chin and forehead- I found the Bobbi Brown Skin Weightless Powder foundation sets my skin AMAZINGLY and it never clings to dry patches which is a big one for me! The BM foundation broke me out bad.. so I tend to just stay with my Bobbi LOL.

Thanks everyone! I'm really looking into one by Pur minerals. But Justine and Lillee, which bare minerals foundation did you/your friend use? Was it the original, or the blemish one? Because the blemish one is new, and what's really selling me on it is the packaging lol
