There's always the other option of buying a lighter foundation shade as a highlighter,if you wear matte foundation just get a luminous.

I tried it and I didn't mind it :) I definitely like my touché éclat better though, it's more creamy and really brightens the skin

They're just highlighting pens.. I don't like to buy them too much because highlighting powders usually last a whole lot longer! The one I bought didn't get to have a long life. They seem to put so little product for what it's worth... MAC has some nice powder highlights and Becca has beautiful ones too.

I agree with kitty. Though I do prefer liquid highlights over powder on my dry skin, so I use the nars illuminator in copacabana. It's the same thing, but you just apply it with your fingers or a brush, and blend. But it's easily triple to product and I believe it was like 24$CAN.
It's a product I don't think I could live without now. I use it everyday, even if I'm just going minimal, it'll be concealer, mascara and copacabana lol.

By brightening under your eyes do you mean you have dark circles? That can easily be corrected with a colour correcting concealer and you won't have to buy any highlighting product :)

Honestly, I love a good highlight. I have the ysl touché éclat and it just puts more life into my skin when put on the higher points of my face. Although some people use it under the eyes to brighten the eyes and there's a bit of controversy over that whether or not it's used for that or not. But if you're looking for a great highlighter check out the hourglass baked ones. I have heard only positive things about them!

For a bright under eye effect, I always use a lighter concealer (my favorite is the Maybeline fit me because it is very light weight and doesn't crease on me) and t ben set it with a powder (again lighter then what I use to set my foundation) and the result is amazing! I usually do that on my forehead and chin too to balance it out.
