I'd say wet your brush with either water or setting spray before dipping it into the eyeshadow so that itll appear thicker? (Not sure how to describe), when you put it on. Thats a trick that worked for me.

1.Use small strokes
2.Use a small tipped or angeld brush
3.Use only a little bit of eyeshadow at a time, you can go over it more than once to darken it to your liking.
4.Start as close to the lashline as you can and gradually thicken it to what you want
5.If you use it on the inner corner of your eye (Like regular eyeliner) realize that the eyeshadow will most likely transfer to your lower waterline. You'll probably have to touch up throughout the day.
6.Be careful of smudging, eyeshadow smudges easier.
7.Use a darker shade of eyeshadow than what you might want (if you're doing a colored eyeshadow or a brown) because it'll show up lighter (unless very pigmented).
That's all I can think of off the top of my head, and these are what worked for me! I hope they help you! Xx

I already do all those things. Thank you though :). I would like to try to wing it at the end but it never comes out right.

Have you tried using cake liner? Or cream? Have you tried the suggestions the other ladies have mentioned? If so I'm a bit confused as to what you want to achieve could you please give more detail.

The inglot duraline works really nice to convert eyeshadow into liner. You should definitely check it out!

I second duraline, it's amazing! It might take a little practice though, since it essentially makes your eyeshadow a liquid liner (unless you use a lot of eyeshadow, but that could be a waste).
