Has anyone tried the Gerard lipsticks? I just ordered my first purchase I ordered 1995 and buttercup from the Jaclyn Hill collection :) please leave your reviews :)!

I was not impressed by it. It slid on dryly, and doesn't last long. I'm not particularly a fan of how the company reacted to a customer about her review either, but that's just my opinion. Some people said they didn't think it was worth the price. I did like her rose hill lip gloss though, but that's just about it.

Triara just curious what was their response to a customers review? Melissa, I haven't tried then yet but hopefully you have a good experience with them. I'd love to see swatches and a review once you get them!

Sarah - a customer posted a bad review (like a really bad one, and in a very rude way with a lot of swearing...it really wasn't very nice) but then on another youtubers snapchat (MannyMUA) the owner of Gerard Cosmetics called that customer "the ugliest person". While I personally agree that the review was horrendous and she seemed like a rude person, it was absolutely out of line for the head of a company to be unprofessional and insult someone that way. Also - I've never met anyone that's not on YouTube that really thinks Gerard Cosmetics products are as fabulous as youtubers say they are. It seems a little shady to me...but everyone should make their own opinions. Some people like them :)

Sarah: What Jamie just said. The review was kind of off the top, but there is no right for the company owner to call her ugly. You don't see NARS, MAC,etc. coming after their customers for bad reviews.

The good reviews you see on YouTube are because Gerard Cosmetics pays them and requires them to sign a contract saying that they would only say positive things about the products. Honestly I've heard so many awful things about Gerard Cosmetics that it's not worth it.

The lipsticks are gross. They are drying and have that disgusting taste and smell you'd fine in a super cheap lipstick

I've only heard bad things and from people that aren't youtubers, I saw a girl post on another makeup app the other day that goop was coming out of her Gerard cosmetics lipsticks and after she confronted the company online they blocked her. Idk, they just seem shady to me.
