I have oily skin..not acne prone..its pretty much clear with occasional blackheads if I am not regular with my skincare routine..but my skin looks dull and uneven with pores on nose..can you guys recommend a good cleanser to help with skin glow and even out skin tone? how is Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish?
I am currently using Soap and Glory line. peaches and clean, scrub your nose in it, the greatest scrub of all and face soap and clarity.

As one who has struggled with my skin over the years, being consistent is key. Wash twice daily with a gentle cleanser, exfoliate periodically chemically with a BHA or AHA, then serum, moisture and sunscreen.. Cerave cleansers and moisturizers are good and modestly priced.. I'd also recommend Paula's Choice products.. Online, but great CS.

I second Maryellen on her advice. Cleansers really don't offer such profound results like a serum does. If you follow her tips you will be a-ok because I have a similar routine to keep my hyperpigmentation at bay and correct any scarring that comes about from acne or random skin irritation.

I agree with the ladies above, those type of results call for products that need to be left on your skin and not washed off in 10 seconds!
I really love my Paula's Choice 2% BHA Liquid (there are before and after pictures on my profile ) and using a good SPF has really helped clear up my spots.

A proper skincare routine is key. For dull skin and uneven pores I would say to make sure you are exfoliating regularly, cleansing, toning, using a vitamin C serum and a good moisturizer. Retin-A cream at night can help also. Pores on nose are difficult. I use Boscia Black Strips about once a week. It helps a lot. Lastly, sunscreen every day is essential to ensure that the uneven spots don't come back or are really stubborn to remove. Your cleanser should be gentle but effective. I use Philosophy's Purity. I also use a clay mask twice a week from LUSH. My favorite is Mask of Magnaminty. I also use a lot of Josie Maran Argan Oil. I have very oily skin but I find that oils, mists and serums help keep me glowing. I fake my glow sometimes by using a illuminizer mixed into my foundation. Good luck!

Oh thank you guys for all the recommendations! I ordered Loreal youth code texture perfector serum..but whenever I use it I get this one pimple on the face..and its the kinda pimple that grows in size like a mosquito bite and hurts..it goes aways after a few days..so I have stopped using that serum..will take a look at Paula's Choice products.

Oh and I don't use moisturizers or sunscreens at all..my skin doesn't sit well with moisturizers and I don't go out in the sun like at all.
