Hey guys!
I've realized that I've had one of my eyeshadow palettes for way too long and I should probably throw it away. So I'm looking to replace it with a newer one (by "way too long" I mean like, 5/6 years).
What would you recommend?
Thanks!
Price isn't an issue.

I HIGHLY recommend the Lorac Pro Palettes, I have all four (1, 2, Metal, and Matte) and I use them constantly. The pigmentation is amazing and they blend so smoothly and easily.

Agreed, Lorac Pro is the best there is in my opinion.

What palette are you replacing and are you wanting something similar? Also do you prefer mattes or shimmer (maybe both)? Neutral colors or bolder colors? My favorite palette brands are from Urban Decay, Too Faced, & Tarte. I haven't tried a Kat Von D Palette but they have great reviews and people are always recommending them. I personally am not the biggest fan of Lorac but as you can tell from this thread, they are pretty popular. I just find the quality of their shadows to not last as long as other eye shadow palettes I have and I have a difficult time blending them.

I honestly don't love the lorac palettes. Way too much fall-out and for me it tends to look muddy very quickly. Kat Von D has equally great pigmentation and lasts a lot longer. I also love anything by Urban Decay--not as pigmented but very buildable and it looks great all day---I prefer UD to any other brand. Their naked palettes are amazing (the smoky is mediocre but the original 3 are awesome). Honestly, I'd go swatch many different brands since people have different preferences. Some people find certain brands suit their needs better than other brands.

Too faced is also pretty good. Better than lorac for me but it still can't compare to KVD or Urban Decay.

I agree with Stephanie. I'm not a huge fan of Lorac... Anyways, swatching in store always helps me decide better. Sometimes I find things I never thought I would like and sometimes I end up swatching something I had my eye on and end up really hating it. Also go with whatever you feel you'll wear on an everyday basis more and what looks you like best.

My Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette is my OG. Do I have other palettes with just as good or better shadow quality? Yes, but for some reason it's the Too Faced one that I use everyday, and not the other ones. Ride or die I guess, lol!
