Layering Mascaras together!

Hello beauties! I recently bought a water - proof mascara, but I found out that I like the combination of my two other mascaras, one lengthening and one thickening, much better. Problem is, they're not waterproof! if I were to layer them as I normally would, then put the waterproof one on top, would it waterproof the whole look? or would the two underneath just run as they usually would?

Hmm...Good question, actually. Lol.
I think it would waterproof everything since you're essentially coating everything else and sealing it, right?? I'm not sure either! haha

I'm not 100% sure, I think it might depend on the mascaras themselves, but I think it would waterproof the look! I used to do layering with one waterproof mascara, and it seemed to keep everything waterproof. 😄

I always layer my mascara. I have some for length and others for thickening and they work better when combined

I think it would water proof it if it's a really good water proof mascara.

My thickening mascara is the miss Manga mascara by L'Or?al. the waterproof one is wonderlash my rimmel. the lengthening mascara I use is in my car, but I believe it's a rimmel as well.

A really good waterproof maximum definition mascara that I absolutely adore is essence and I always tend to the layer that with my L'Oreal and it just works out really well I put the Loreal on curl my lashes do a second coat and then finish with essence maximum definition here's a picture of the it.

I layer mascara and top/bottom lash coat it with Tarte's Lights! Camera! Splashes! Holds a curl and is incredibly water resistant for me.
