Is there anyway to make my foundation a lighter shade?
I have pretty light skin and I use the Maybelline Dream Liquid mousse foundation in the lightest shade but it's still a tad bit too dark, and I want it too look more natural with my skin. All help appreciated!

I think adding moisturizer lightens it a bit.

No adding moisturizer does nothing to the color, it changes the texture and makes the coverage lighter. I would suggest mixing it with a lighter concealer / foundation.

Research CoverFx custom color drops, and white foundations to mix with regular foundation. I heard MAC and MUFE has those.

^ it'll only change the coverage. I have the same problem. Most foundations are too dark or too warm for me. A white foundation might be helpful to get the right shade. I think Mac and Illamasqua have some :)

White foundation mixed in will be your best bet. face atalier (might be a bit off on spelling) makes a whole array of color adjuster foundation just for the purpose of darkening/lightening foundations (a whole array except OLIVE of course. nobody is willing to admit that some of us really are naturally green). I know mac makes one in face and body but I believe it only works with face and body foundations.
face atalier is probably the best but the price reflects that. Makeup Forever makes an oil based one, but its oil based so there's more risk of breakout and you don't want to use it with a water based foundation. if price is an issue I would look at manic panic dream tone. it is water based so it should mix well with silicone or water based foundations (most of them) and I've heard good things but never tried it myself because I already have a bottle of the face atalier I'm going through slowly.
just a couple starting points =)
