I like matte but I'm totally willing to expand and try a satin or matte or frost finish, I'm really loving the plum/deep berry/maroon but what do you think would go well with my light olive skin tone?, I don't really have a price range, and any brand is fine (it just has to be a good brand not a bad one)!

I absolutely love Whirl and Velvet Teddy from Mac and I think they'd look great with your skin tone. They are pretty good for the fall imo.

My personal favorite shades right now are Bite Beauty Black Cherry and Urban Decay Shame, they're gorgeous berry shades but neither is really matte. You could certainly go swatch them if you have a Sephora near you, but they're incredibly beautiful and really worth it in my opinion. I have kind of a weird skin tone, it's very hard for me to find a color that actually does not look good on me, so I'm not really quite sure how to look within the confines of a specific skin tone. I'd recommend asking Jackie and Alma for better advice on what to look for given that you have olive toned skin =)
