I've recently purchased Born this way by Too Faced. I LOVE the product, but not the colors so much. I'm medium color so fit more in the beige categories, but I find with both light and natural beige after oxidizing it looks orange? I would try lighter, but that would be too light for my skin tone. Anyone else have this problem?

I love Too Faced but I find all of their foundations to be to yellow for my skin. I don't think they oxidize on me, they just don't have enough color range for me.

What type of skin do you have? And what primers do you use? This could be part of your problem. I think it just might be that you're like me and they don't have the right color for you.

I'm along the lines of normal to dry. I use the MUFE hydrating primer. I really think that's going to be it : / they are just to yellow/orangish for me 😕 I LOVE the finish when I first put it on, but give it about an hour or two and it's awful.

When I used to have oily skin, my makeup had more of a tendency to turn orange. So I think the problem was a combination of oxidation and over active sebum production ie...oily skin. Sebum (your natural oils) has a yellow-slightly orange tint to it which I really believe is a contributing factor to makeup turning orange. Back in the day, I would just have to buy a foundation that would be the wrong shade when I applied it but then would change closer to my skintone in a couple of hours. But now, there are better formulations, more variety of formulations and larger skintone ranges. Also oil-control toners, moisterizers and primers. In saying all this, its still going to be trial & error finding the right foundation. But if you have some backround information on why its happening, it may help you choose products to counteract the problem. Good luck.

Try blotting your skin before applying product. I do this myself and then go in with a primer. After primer application I apply my foundation. No oxidizing to be seen. Luckily I only have one foundation that turns on me but when I blot and use primer I have no issue. I also make sure I use a colorless setting powder. My fave is ByTerry Hyaluronic Hydra Powder to set.
