Hey girls so I've zero knowledge about hair extensions I've never had them I don't know how to get them I don't know how to take care of them I don't know the whole process like my hair is just past my shoulders I'm very sick but I would love to be able to put hair extensions in you can just make say my ponytail look longer or when I do a topknot it to have more volume because of more hair I would just love to have long hair every now and again but I wouldn't want to get permanent hair extensions because I hear terrible for your hair and I like to grow mine out until I can cut off enough so I can donate it to Locks of love is there any possible way I can get hair extensions biking clipping for a day and take back out without hurting my hair I would also like them to be excellent quality so if you guys know anything on this subject it would be greatly appreciated thanks girls.

You buy them online. You put them in differently when it's for a ponytail, they're put in upside down, you'll want to watch a YouTube video or something on that because it's very specific. You can get clip in extensions. I actually wear extensions for the exact reason you want, a ponytail and bun.

Is there a certain brand that look the most natural and that are not as hard on your hair see I don't even know if clip in extensions are hard on your hair.

Clip ins are fine, just don't wear them more than you need. You always want to get Remy, that means the hair is real and virgin. There are lots of brands, bellami is one that a lot of girls recommend.

I love love love perfectlocks.com their extensions are extremely high quality. That being said they can run a bit high in price. I've had my beaded weft set for over a year and they just started shedding. I always aim for 100% human remy virgin hair that way you can get them colored to you hair or color them yourself. It's never good to have miss matched hair! Also make sure you look into who you donate your hair to. Sometimes it doesn't always go where you want it to!

Locks for Love had some untruthful unkind rumors spreading, but I know many Pros who are very involved with them and those issues have been addressed on both their website and Snopes. http://www.snopes.com/politics/business/locksoflove.asp

They are a charity and yet still must maintain costs, overhead, etc.and donations can only cover so much. You can find detailed info here and the link provided addressing concerns within this article from Locks themselves on their site.
As the child of Veterans, I donate a lot of goods to Amvets and other Veteran charities. I was not upset when I learned that Amvet thrift stores do not generate enough revenue to maximize helping vets, so often, they sell their donated goods in bulk to other thrift stores...and use *that* money toward overhead and investing in other ways to help Veterans and their families...so please know you are helping no matter how your hair is used.
