Ok so I was thinking about maybe using temporary dye to switch up my hair color maybe add a little flair but I wanted to know the pros and cons of using temporary dye and if it damages hair.

Temporary dyes can be really had to get completly out of your hair. I have light blond hair and have used temporary purple and temporary dark brown - Both I had to use bleach to get it completely out!

Yes if you have light coloured hair naturally and use a much darker or brighter dye it will probably stain your hair. so just be careful about what colour you choose. But temporary dyes are much healthier for your hair than permanents and are better if you don't want to commit to the colour. :)
