I had shellac nails awhile ago and took it off myself, my nails seemed to crack and peel. I was dumb and put on a new coat of nail polish right away, they haven't improved at all. The first day of school is tomorrow and I would love to put on some nail polish but I don't know if that will make them worse. Would they be okay if I put on nail polish or should I wait?
