Hi ladies, I'm looking to save some time on my makeup routine. Do you know if mixing primer with foundation will have the same effect as applying primer first, followed by foundation? ☺ Thanks!

I don't think so. I think you're better off priming then doing foundation. mixing the two will change the texture and possibly the performance of the foundation.

I agree with R T. plus, a primer is used so you can have a barrier between your skin and your makeup, mixing the 2 products together would prevent this process and almost be pointless,

The difference is that you will dilute the foundation meaning there will be less coverage than if you were to apply them directly to your face separately :)

I agree with what the other girls have said! Another purpose of a primer is so your foundation has something to stick to so it doesn't slide around or rub off as easily. I would just stick to them as separate product:)

I'd replace my moisturizer with a moisturizing primer to reduce a step...such as Embryolisse Lait-creme Concentrate...but not if you have oily skin.

Also..a nice coverage CC Cream with broad spectrum SPF can reduce a step.
