I personally don't think makeup looks should depend on what color eyes you have. I used to always follow that "rule" but I think it depends more on how you apply your makeup for your face/eye shape and I think skin tone is more important as to what colors to choose. Yes there are colors that can make certain eye colors pop but I know for me silvers and greys look weird in me, so its about finding and playing with what looks best for you rather than saying all blue eyes, browns, or greens need to wear only certain colors. So another thing, what are you looking for? Bold colorful looks or more natural or neutral looks?

I always like to use a darkish gold. My eyes are brownish/green and I like the way it looks.

I have green eyes/ light skin too, and I use lavender eyeshadow. It does a lot more for me personally than browns or other colors.
