I'm getting my first facial tomorrow! I'm very excited but I don't know what to do to prepare my skin for the facial. I tried Google but I'm getting mixed information about whether or not to stop exfoliating or do my regular morning routine.
Some places say to not exfoliate the night before so should I skip using my Clarisonic tonight and just use my hands?
I understand that a facial includes cleansing, moisturizing, and all that but some things I read say to do my morning routine and some say don't. Wouldn't it make more sense for me to not do my morning routine as I'm going first thing in the morning?
I appreciate the help and any other information you all can provide!

I just wash my face the evening before and splash only water on the day of. That way, my skin is just...simple... natural. Hope you enjoy!

I usually continue my normal skincare routine , but if it's scheduled in the morning I skip on it. Your estie will evaluate your skin herself up close, so she/he will be the one to determine what will be done. Enjoy ☺

Thank you, Kitty! I figured since I was going right in the morning I wouldn't have to do my morning routine (:

Be gentle no exfoliation! Prep your skin with just a simple cleanser make sure your skin stays bare up until the facial (no makeup) do not OVER WASH your face because you can irritate it. Hope it goes well facials are amazing and make you feel great! Good luck xoxo.
