Hi Ladies. I'm looking for a new moisturiser. I have an extremely oily tzone but my skins dehydrated every where else. I wear foundation daily. I'm looking for something to address my issues and be ideal to wear under makeup. I was looking at macs oil control moisturiser and benefit has an oil free emulsion. Does anyone have any other suggestions or experience in either products?

I don't wear full face makeup daily but I too have an oily tzone and love the Neutrogena moisturizer for combination skin.

Do you use a primer after your moisturizer? That could solve your issues. I'm excessively oily on my cheeks, chin and forehead. I use POREfessional and it works wonders. I also use a mattifying translucent power or MAC Studio Fix powder to set. My face is usually very greasy looking cause it's so oily but not with this combo. I'm wearing Laura Mercier in this photo and it's 100 degrees in Florida...hence the pull back hair.

Thanks ladies! Tamara I never considered trying a primer but I'm going to look in to it now. I use the studio fix powder as well so I'm halfway there :)

Mac's oil control has Q22 which disperses the oils from the oily parts of the face to the more dry or dehydrated parts. So in reality it won't necessarily fix your oil issue but it definitely does give you an instant matte finish. I've ditched primers they just don't work for me.

No problem Gemma. Just make sure that whatever primer you use have the benefits you want. You don't need to apply it all over your face. You also have the option of using two different primers; a hydrating one for your dry areas and a mattifying one for oily areas. Please let us know how it turns out for you. 😉
