I recently got a balayage and it completely depends what you want, I asked for a subtle face framing balayage with golden tones. I think you should get it done professionally the first time to see how it's done and to see how it looks best

Hey so I'm looking to get a balayage and I'm wondering what are some good ways to explain to my hairdresser what do to? I was also wondering if it is possible to do at home bc I usually dye my own hair but I'm not sure if I would be able to do it at home if so what should I use. (If I do it at home my sister can help me so I'm not doing it on myself)
