Which do you prefer and why? I tend to stick with pressed because when I use loose it seems to usually manage getting all over the place.

Pressed. I don't like the messiness when it comes to application and I don't like the risk of knocking a jar/bottle and having product spill out.

Rikki, I am always nervous about knocking over the jar/bottle also. On the rare occasions that I use it I put the open container in a corner away from me.
