I just bought meybelline eye studio liquid eye liner and after practicing it turn to be my favorite. it has two sides, one for a thin line and the other for bold and dramatic line. it has a dewy finish, durable and is very pigmented.

I use a gel eyeliner from mabellind I its called 24 hour something it comes in a little clear jar with either a black top for black eyeliner or vice versa with brown and it comes with a pencil looking applicator its amazing!! It gives you precise lines and does not budge! Its definitely great for cat eyes and definitely my favorite eyeliner period!!(:

I would say a gel liner is the way to go for you! They tend to look more smooth then a full on liquid. Also if its just not right use a q-tip with a bit of makeup remover! And if your doing a cat eye and using eye shadow try the liner before the shadow. Check out my beauty blog for more tips and tricks! (splendidwithsparkles.tumblr.com)
