I know you didn't just say you have BORING hazel eyes!! Lol. I LOVE my contacts, I only use them when I'm doing some outlandish makeup though or if I feel like being weird that day. Go for it! If you don't like them, you don't like them.

Dislike them, personally I find that the contacts have to look natural. Often frightened when people wear coloured contacts. I say love your own and wear the normal non coloured contacts :)

Circle lenses you keep for a very long time and they get germy, no matter how much you clean them. Very unsanitary. Regular colored contacts...meh.

Make sure to do them safely. See an optometrist and find out if you are able to wear nonprescription lenses-not everyone can. If (and only if) the optometrist says it is okay, then you can think of buying a pair. Keep in mind that colored/costume lenses are a bit of an investment: the lenses themselves are $30-$50 (if you buy from overseas; non-RX lenses are illegal in USA and RX colored lenses are >$80), the case and solution is ~$10, the visit to your optometrist may have a copay (depends on your insurance). In total you should expect to spend at least $50, likely more.
Don't wear colored lenses for longer than a couple of hours, and don't wear them every day or you will have apoxia in your eyes. Use proper hygiene, keep your lenses clean and stored properly, and be sure to read all pamphlets that come with your solution.
There's a lot more to it than just sticking something in your eye and looking pretty. Wearing contacts without proper precautions can lead to a scratched cornea, a nasty infection, or worse. If you have any questions about wearing colored/costume lenses you can contact me; I've been wearing them for years and I've never had any problems. :)

They're high maintenance and if not cared for properly can make you blind. They're honestly not worth your time and money.

I tried it, didn't like them at all. Don't get the cheap drug store ones, contacts need to be made to fit your eyes, so go to an optometrist and get some good quality ones made especially for you.

I had a blue pair I wore like all the time last summer it kinda made it blurry when they were in.. but if you don't wear a lot of makeup when they're in I don't think they're that bad:)
