Tria Hair Removal?

Has anyone tried the Tria laser thing? Like long term...6 months+? Does it hurt? Also, I want to know if it's worth the investment, and if there's any device maintenance. Like I know with other light hair removal machines, you have to replace a cartridge, does this need that too?
