Take biotin pills (5000mg) and prenatal vitamins. I know the prenatal vitamins sound weird lol but it works! My mom friend had cancer and lost all of get hair and her doctor told her to take those pills and she has a full head of thick hair! Biotin is really good for clearing up skin as well. So I would say to take that

Biotin and prenatal vitamins only give your body the proper nutrition to grow as strong and as fast as your hair can. Unless you aren't getting proper nutrition for your hair to grow, it won't really make any difference. Nothing can speed up your body's natural antagen phase (growing phase of hair). Nothingggg. Just use good products and get proper nutrition so it stays healthy and doesn't break off.

I used to have relaxed hair; my mom started relaxing my hair when I was a toddler, and I maintained relaxed hair until I was 16. While I don't have relaxed hair anymore, I know a few things that you can't go wrong with.
1. Deep conditioning: about once a week if you have the time and resources. Avocado is a great base for DIY hair masks. IC Fantasia has a really good deep conditioner in my opinion.
2. Nutrition: Cut back on soda and sweets. Try to eat veggies and nuts. Be mindful that a lot of foods that claim to be healthy or have a "fresh look", can still be loaded with sugar and saturated fats. My hair really started growing when I drank green tea daily, and when I got involved with sports.
3. Protective Styles: I used to not like protective styles because I though I'd look like boring. However, buns and ponytails have the potential to be really stylish with the right hair accessories (or without if you choose).
4. Split ends and Breakage: Use a heat protectant. Please, please use a heat protectant. Skipping the heat all together is even better. All in all, be gentle with your hair.
