Help with Eyelash curler.

I have never used an eyelash curler before and would like to start using one..any advice ladies on the brand and what to watch for...how long should I wait after applying my mascara before I use it...thanks so much for your help!

I have the revlon one and I really like it. I use it before applying mascara. If I use it after, I find that my lashes clump.
