Been told a few different things like doing eyes first is better cos if eyeshadow falls on your face you dnt have to wipe of foundation cos its not done yet. Opinions please :-)

Foundation first.
Because it acts as a primer for your eyeshadow and will make it stick and last longer. For the problem of eyeshadow falling onto your foundation after you've applied it. What you can do is create a 'eyeshadow veil' as I call it. You use translucent powder and Dab it heavily under your eyes under the parts your going to apply eyeshadow to. It may look a little silly whilst your doing your eyeshadow, but after the eyeshadow falls onto your veil, you can simply brush it off with a powder brush
(:
Hope I made sense

I usually do my face first, let the foundation work into my skin, then I do my eyes and then, again, work on my face. Get rid of any fall out, conceal, and powder.

I do foundation first, I actually can't imagine doing my eyes first.
What you can do for te eyeshadow which falls on your face is to put a a lot of powder under your eyes and once you're done with doing your eyes you whipe the powder away, eventually with your foundation brush, then there won't be any eyeshadow other than where it should be =)

Eyes first. after I did my eyes I clean the part underneath my eyes.. or wherever I have fall out. it can create dark circles if you work with dark shadows and don't clean up afterwards..

If you are wearing lots on the eye I would put eye makeup on first so you don't ruin your foundation

I always do my eyes first because I just don't want to risk having to screw up my foundation.

It's whatever your preference is. Some like to do eyes first because of fallout but its whatever you prefer! :)

That's so strange. How would you so your eyes first? What do you do when you get to your eyes? Isn't there just a weird line where you had to stop your foundation because of your eye makeup? Just wipe it off with a powder brush gently. Literally kind of flick it so that it doesn't smear into your foundation. I don't understand how it would work to do eyes first. And eyeshadow goes onto bare skin horribly

I always do the eyes first, because of the fallout. It is much easier to remove because you don't have to feat to reapply your foundation all over again. If you don't want to apply eyeshadow onto bare skin, just use an eyeshadow primer :)

I use a sponge and go around my eyes to make sure there's no line and I always use a primer so my eyeshadow goes on just fine but its really more about personal preference and what works for you.

Eyes. Cause of the makeup, and you have to rest you hand on your cheek when you do it so that wipes away all my foundation and blush that I just did.

I always do my foundation first because it gives it time to set before I leave. I don't usually have eyeshadow fallout but if I do I just wipe it away or you could just put some powder under your eyes so if you make a mess you can just wipe it away.

I do either or depending on my mood. I like to do my eyes first because after I prime them and apply my eyeshadow I don't have to worry about fallout and I use my foundation and or concealer to clean my eyeshadow up and give me a straight edge at the outer corner. Sometimes I'll do my foundation first so I can have the majority of the face done. I tend to do foundation first if I'm doing a neutral eye or if I'm working with lots of loose pigments.

I do eyes first so I don't have eyeshadow fallout all over my face. I wipe my face with a makeup wipe after I do my eyes.
