What is it? What does it do for you? Which ones the best one?

I feel like it is mainly a tinted moisturizer. If you have oily skin you may not want to use it. But I love mine. I use maybelline. It's just a matter of your skin type!

I use the Maybelline BB cream. I like it but DO NOT use a heavy moisturizer with it. I have oily skin and the BB cream makes it more oily so I have to use a powder on top.

Its supposed to take the place of foundation and moisturizer, also helps to renew your skin. I LOVE mine! I get Garnier's BB creme, you get more for your money and a little goes a long way! Just be sure to get the best for your skin type.

BB cream gives more coverage then a tinted moisturizer but less then a foundation. It depends very much on which brand you use. Some of them you barely see on your skin. I think it is better for your skin then foundation, bc it has moisturizing properties. It doesn't feel heavy at all on your skin like foundation does, thats why I like bb cream better. My favorite is the Skin79 hot pink, it gives great coverage and its the one that got the closest to my (fair) skin color. Lioele also has great bb creams.

Honestly, don't even bother wasting your time with American-made BB Creams. They're tinted moisturizers with claimed benefits that were modeled after the original BB Creams. If you're interested, look into Asian brands such as Lioele, BRTC, Skin79, Missha, etc. Those are some of the most popular BB Creams on the market; I personally use BRTC's Jasmine one. As with all skin care products, each BB Cream is different from one another, so it may take time before you find the one for you. But they're really worth it.

What Nilla M. said! The only problem is most Asian BB Creams have only two shades, some of them even only one and only very few offer bigger range. I am not sure about shades of those sold in Europe and USA as I buy mine directly from Korean sellers.
My favourite one is Etude House Precious Mineral Bright Fit.

BBcream is like an all in one product. It evens out your skin tone, some even have SPF in its formula to protect your skin from the sun, it has MUCH lighter coverage than regular foundation, and can moisturize your skin at the same time. From my experience I've used the Garnier BBcream and the Smash Box Camera Ready BBcream. The only problems I've had with Garnier's/drugstore bbcream is that the formula gets my skin to become more oily throughout the day, so I will use it much more in the winter to prevent my skin from dryness, and paired with a face powder of course. Smashbox's has a drier formula, but it lasts much longer for me, and because it's drier it controls the oils that produce on my skin throughout the day much better. It's also a lot more on the pricier side! But overall, BBcream is great if you need minimal coverage and if you are going for a natural look. It's also a great primer to put under your foundation if you are looking for more coverage. I definitely recommend it! It's quite versatile because you can incorporate it into a lot of looks and daily routines :) I personally use BBcream for my everyday routine, all I do first is moisturize, apply BBcream, then set it with my bare&minerals face powder and I'm good to go! As the comments above said, asian bbcreams are ,from what I've heard from my friends who use them, "the best"... which makes sense considering BBcreams originated in Asia. The only thing is often the brands there do not carry a variety of shades, and I know that a lot of them are meant to "adjust" or "blend" into your skin tone after you apply it to your face.

Hope I helped! I'm actually applying BBcream in my winter makeup tutorial video if you'd like to see it here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XBjUMOHVMes

Garnier has worked for me and I have oily skin.. Hasnt been a problem, except even the darker of the two shades is slightly too light on my skin. Good luck!

BB creams are supposed to have a light tint of colour. It moisturizes, has an spf, a built in primer. This is really the new hit product in America but they don't work how they're supposed to. Most American brands are just a rip off from real BB creams that are found in Asia and Europe.
