Already tried everything under the sun from changing my diet, drinking water, holistic/natural approach, expensive brands, vitamins, supplements, masks, birth control, toners, acupuncture you name it! I'm at my wits end and need to clear this up before my wedding day!

Some say toothpaste, but I don't really know if it works, but you should look it up. do you wash you skin of ALL your makeup, because clogged pores do that, I was 2 times a day, morning and night, and that is said to reduce acne. wipe your skin down really good of all the make up, and try exfoliating 3 times a week. I actually make a olive oil and sea salt exfoliation mask, because the salt really pulls out the dirt from the pores, and the olive oil REALLY leaves your skin so amazingly smooth! if youre worried about oily skin, just wash w/ cleaner, and the olive will be less oily, and your skin will be AMAZING. Also, just try and look up some YouTube videos, they really help. Also wish you congrats on your marriage, hope you're very happy together!

Hey Afnan! Thank you so much for the reply! I've definitely tried toothpaste and it doesn't with for me. I have a strict regime and I cleanse twice a day, exfoliate, and get all my makeup off. I even own a clarisonic and even that stopped working :( definitely look up YouTube videos all the time but nothing new that I haven't tried.

Hey Katie! Is the Murad supplement a cleanser or an oral supplement? Thank you so much for the tips! I'll check them out! :)

Yeah it's pretty bad lately :( my face was pretty clear then in that picture. My acne got worse since having a baby.

Exfoliation with acne can make it worse and spread the bacteria around. I don't recommend it, and absolutely not more than once a week.

Hey Marie! Yeah, I try to limit the exfoliation. I noticed my clarisonic was breaking me out too. I figured it probably spreads the bacteria around. No bueno :(

Katie, can I get this at Sephora or Ulta? How much is the supplement? It sounds promising and I'm willing to try almost anything at this point.. Thanks for the reply back!

Yeah, same thing. If its worse since having the baby, it's mainly hormonal.. Try to cut out any artificial sweeteners, vitamins are important. Try to avoid stress and get good sleep... (With a baby and a wedding coming up?? Easier said than done, I know lol) If you go into one of the vitamin stores, someone may be able to direct you to good supplements that can help with balancing your hormones.

I'm an esthetician and I've had quite a few clients come in struggling with acne after a baby and its definitely tough to navigate through. Some women have a harder time than others. Try not to over-cleanse, over-exfoliate.. Take it step by step, I know how incredibly frustrating it can be.

Marie - haha you're so right. Baby and wedding could be the culprit but I'm staying positive and hopeful! I'm on birth control right now to balance my hormones but I'll check in the pharmacy for similar supplements directed for acne.

It's really common! Your body will go back to normal in time, the vitamins and supplements will help in the meantime! Good luck!! :)

Well I had quite a bit of acne on my forehead. I got some advice to exfoliate by rubbing soap and sugar over my face and neck. afterwards I would rub lemon juice over the area with acne (this prevents more breakouts). Hopefully this helps you. and congratulations!! :)

The area in which your face breaks out reflects something different for every area. Cheeks are usually affected by your lungs! The quality of the air you are breathing and the toxins that are breathed in are escaping through the skin on your cheeks! Just like your forehead is from sleep deprivation, above your brows are your immune system, between the brows is diet, and chin and jawline is hormones! Your skin is your biggest organ and all of these things are being processed by your skin and your skin is kicking out things that it doesn't like! In your case the air your breathing. Try air purification in your house and sleep with a humidifier on, even try replacing the air filter in your home more often as well as getting a better quality one! Try a ph balancing toner after you cleanse with your clarisonic too!

Also, try not to cleanse too often because the more often you remove oil the more your body will produce!

Clinique do a yellow concealer that works great, covers & reduces the redness. I'm on strong antibiotics for mine but this stuff really helps, their whole range designed for redness is good. Hope it clears & you have a wonderful wedding.
