I'm not sure what kind of skin I have because even though its very dry it is still very oily. Not sure what to. I also have a lot of redness to my skin, Can anyone help?

You could have combination. you can tell after you wash your face, before you put on moisturizer does your skin get tight or normal or get oily fairly quick. You can use green (primer or whatever) to correct redness. Or use something soothing or something sensitive.

It's usually tight after I shower and I use moisturizer after my shower but even after moisturizing my skin still feels dry and within an hour very oily.

You sound like you have combination skin with dehydration and you may either have a little rosacea or sensitive skin. But if its a lot of redness then I would say rosacea, although I can't see your skin. Try to avoid really hot or cold water on your face and use a good cleanser for combination skin. I would also suggest a mask to hydrate your skin again.
