I am having trouble taking off my mascara at night. I usually just wash it of with warm water and some soap, but it just smears everywhere. I noticed some of my lashes fall off in the process! I do not use waterproof mascara either. Any advice for gently removing my mascsara? Eye- safe makeup removers?

I use makeup remover wipes too... just sort of fold them onto your lashes and rub lightly with your lashes between the wipe... sorry if that's confusing! just be careful around your eyes :)

I use elf makeup removal pads. They come with 20 or so and it's only a dollar. I got them at Hardings. They work well, but you can't save them for too long cause they will dry out.

I use boots own brand eye make up remover on cotton wool pads. It's cheap so I load up the pad and soak my lashes before gently rubbing. Works a treat!

I rub petroleum jelly on them. It's a bit messy, but completely worth it.

Washing it off its really worth it you won't have to rub your eyes a lot... Which can cause you to damage your eye skin since its very sensitive

Eye makeup remover towards the sides of your face and the mascara will go to your face then you can wash it off. I do this because of the waterproof mascara.

Mac cleanse off oil is great for removing all make up. They do a really good range off make up cleansers but I think the cleanse off oil is best for my skin type :)

I take my eyelash brush and dip it in my remover and run it through my lashes as if I were putting mascara on. That just loosens the makeup from the lashes thoroughly and then I remove with wipes. Works like a charm! And dont forget to wash your face afterwards, just in case you forgot a little bit.

Use either makeup wipes but If you don't have any take a tissue and apply a little bit of unscented/colored lotion.

I use baby oil. Sounds weird, but takes everything off and it doesn't do any harm to my eyes. I just get a cotton ball and wet it. Then I put a little of the baby oil and wipe off my mascara, eyeliner, and eyeshadow all at once. I love using it :)

I use bioderma, soak a cotton pad with it and then hold it over my closed eye for 30s before wiping off. Works everytime.
