I'm using rimmel wake me up foundation also got a foundation brush but can never get the coverage rite some days look nice rest look like had a orange tan, really just need some tips on how to apply make up sounds silly but just can't seem to get it rite.

Hi Laura, I thought I'd try an answer as noone has replied to you yet. Is there any chance that the colour if you're foundation is slightly different to your skin tone? It might be that the days when you apply it a little thicker it looks more orange? It could be a little too yellow for you. If you want to apply it thinly you can mix it with a little moisturiser before using your brush or use a sponge dampened with water.

Blend! I've learnt how important it is to blend it down your neck and into your hairline properly. Also check your shade suits your undertone.
