I don't know if I should use Wipes or a Face Wash. My friends both use wipes but they have acne because of them. But is a Face Wash really better?

Face wash.. Cleans better.. You can save the face wipes for lazy nights.. Keep them at your bedside incase your too tired to wash your face and ready to sleep lol

I only use face wipes to take off makeup before working out. Also IF I'm ever just too tired to wash my face before bed.

I only wash my face once a day, at night. that's all I've done in YEARS and my skin is great. I use a wipe in the morning and wash at night.

Both work rlly good! Try Stridex wipes $5 or equate am face cleanser $8 they both prevent acne before it starts and stops acne plus they help oily skin.

Stridex wipes have alcohol, I believe, and you should stay away! biore wipes are alcohol free :)

Wipes don't get all of your makeup of and there can still be a layer of dirt, makeup and oil on your skin. You should deff use both wipes and a dash wash since the face wash will really get down to your pores and remove all the dirt. If you worried about breaking out use a face wash and wipes specifically for sensitive skin so that you are less likely to have a break out. Above all, always use face wash or both, never only use the wipes. :)

I use face wash in the shower in the morning then at night I use my face wipes to remove most of my makeup, and then follow up with my face wash. I always use my toner and moisturizer after each wash though.

Alex, I have to disagree with you. I take my makeup off at night when I wash my face, and in the morning I use a wipe to freshen up. that is all I need it for. my skin is amazing, I don't break out, and I have used this method for years. I do not NEED a cleanser in the morning, so why put more on my skin than necessary? what works for one won't always work for others, so I'm not claiming my method works for everyone. but it does work for me.

I try to use a face wash to remove my makeup, but sometimes I'm just too lazy, lol. If I use a wipe I will use a toner afterwards to make sure I've gotten all my makeup off. I also use wipes to freshen up in the morning if I'm not planning on showering right away.

If you're opting for wipes, make sure you use at least two wipes to ensure that you're removing all the makeup & dirt from the face. With wipes, you're really just wiping the makeup around on your face.
I usually go for a face wash because it works better and clears my skin of the makeup better. ALWAYS take the extra time to take care of yourself!

Alyse, if that works for you that's great! But a face wipe do not take all the dirt off of your face, washing your face is a lot better for it. If she's worried about getting a breakout then washing the face would help to prevent that instead of using face wipes that don't get all the build up of the dirt off your face. But that's great that that works for you!
