I love to do nude/bold lips, but every time I wear lipstick, my lips look dry and crusty almost, so it makes me not want to do a nice lip. I use Mac, and sometimes Victorias secret.

Moisturize your lips before applying lipstick. a good lip balm does the trick.

You might want to exfloxiate your lips and then apply a light swipe of a beeswax based lipbalm on your lips prior to the lipstick application. You can make a lip scrub using brown sugar, honey and lemon juice or if DIY isn't your cup of tea Fresh makes a great lip scrub that can be found at Sephora.
