I'm thinking of getting some false nails for valentines day but I wanted to know if you can do nail art on them because I don't want them to look boring haha.

Just make sure to use acetone free polish remover. Acetone will wear the acrylics down.

I use the plastic-y fake nails sometimes that you get at the drugstore. You can cut them with clippers to the size and shape you want and make them less sharp with a file.

False nails don't chip as easy, and they last MUCH longer. You get more bang for your buck!

They came with nail glue (basically just a little bottle of super-glue) to adhere them. They don't last long for me because I work in a coffee shop where we wash our hands a gafrillion times an hour with the most caustic soap known to mankind--it eats off nailpolish and dissolves the nail glue. But if your job doesn't require you to constantly have your hands in water or involved in physical labor they will probably last much longer.
