I am going on vacation to Florida this weekend and am torn between getting acrylic nails or leaving my natural nail? Please let me know what you think.

I think acrylic nails are better! They would stay on butttt they can damage your nails so.. You have choose.

Natural unless you do gels which lasts up to 2 weeks but you would have to remove them professionally and they do a tiny bit of damage at least on me they did:( so natural!

Natural! Florida is very beachy & we're not into fake nails. It's harsh on your nails when you use acrylic & it can even make them fall off. It's a nasty process so stay away! Hope your vacation is fun! ~Floridian

Natural... acrylic may look nice but it kills your nails and if one happens to break then youre stuck and it looks bad!

Shellac is nice because out doesn't chip very easily and it is your natural nail.

I am a born and raised Floridian and I live 10 minutes from the beach, if you're doing activities au natural.

I suggest a bio sculpture no chip manicure. its healthy, last, doesn't loose its shine and best of all it doesn't chip!!

Sorry Abigail, but since when are Floridians not into fake nails? I've lived here for 17 years and loads of ladies have them! But I would say natural. Simple because of the damage repair you have to go through afterward :/

I've seen soooo many fake nailers in fl.. I go 3X/year... They're all over not just fl.. I love long nails, mine grow good till I chip a few and then I cut the rest to the same length haha.. Fun part about natural is you can change the color more often if you like too!

What's bio sculpture Joni? Is that a form of "gel" manicure?

Gel manicures! Just make sure not to peel or pick them off. Buff the surface and soak in acetone or foil wraps when you're done! I love gel polish!!
