Depends on if you color hair then more, just cut less. Color is where the money is.

I think this depends on several things, for instance, someone working in a high end salon in Beverly Hills will obviously be making more then someone at a supercuts, you know? so it varies where you work, your education and by education I don't necessarily mean where you went to school... I mean your continued education skills,etc.

Not necessarily @Noelle. My cousin worked for Chazz Dean if you don't know him look him up he's a celebrity stylist/etc, and she only made like $9 per hour. sure she got to travel and everything but she was not making any kind of money to survive here in LA. SOooo... sometimes you may have to take crappy paying jobs in order to network and be exposed to people to network with! Like with any career, its what you make of it!
