I have tried so many different thing to have a somewhat matte finish that last but nothing works. By the end of the day my makeup is blotchy. What's a good foundation and powder??

If I were you I would use smashbox because they are known for long lasting makeup, also finishing spray helps set the makeup so it will last and feel fresh all day and prevent things like oily skin :)

Whenever I do my foundation I always use a wet makeup sponge to put it on and to blend it in and it give me a airbrush effect and it doesn't get cakey either and I have large pores so its good way to apply foundation ps. I use almays nearly naked foundation and a elf translucent powder on top.
