After years of chemical damage and reaching a breaking point with my hair after going blonde, I decided to chop not all off and start fresh. It's been a year now and I'm growing tired of this short curly look. It's grown, but extremely slowly. I'm looking for some sort of remedy or tips for kick starting this hair growth. I miss my long hair!

Well... you can always start with oiling your hair... the best and natural remedy so far.

Drink lots of water and every 2-3 months get your dread ends cut off and it will grow faster and stronger.

Brush your hair a lot, drink lots of water and try not to wash your hair every day! My hair grew 3 inches in 3 and a half months!

Massage your scalp daily but don't do it in the morning because it will make your hair oily. Also get the split ends trimmed about every 3-5 months, too often or not often enough will make your hair grow slower. Take vitamins, drink water, add protein to your diet, have a barnacled diet, only wash your hair when it gets oily which is usually somewhere between 2-5 days

Well, I let my hair grow out for convenience. What worked to keep my hair healthy is to not style it with heat or extreme products. So my hair only got split ends after 2 years and stayed strong.

Doing hot oil massages for your scalp works. Castor oil is the best for growing your hair. you can also try taking biotin.

Contrary to popular belief, try not to brush your hair often - even high quality brushes causes breakage. Use your fingers. Massage your scalp with your head flipped upside down, take biotin/prenatal/folic acid, wash hair every 3 days or so, only apply shampoo to scalp (not all of hair), do egg yolk hair masks weekly, eat lots of protein and iron rich foods. finally, NO heat or chemicals. use a leave in conditioner. Moisturizing is the key to growth.  ♡
