I get that the emphasis should be on the clothes so they wear neutral makeup - but then sometimes they do really outlandish makeup too- but they ALWAYS seem to have a scowl and kind of 'about to pass out' eyes rolling back. I'd love to know why. Is there a reason or are they really starving??You rarely see a "I feel so feminine/empowered great in this $400 but worth your money to wear it" kinda smile. It's always the 'is that poo I smell?' look.
Hair models always look like they're having the time of their life- I buy tonns of shampoo ha ha

Thank you! I always complain about this. I honestly have no idea, I have had two different photographers that have wanted me to look fierce or depressed but I never looked so dead... I would love to look happy in some photos though! So I can't help but blame the photographers for the most part. I would love to see happier models. I went on an online shopping spree this weekend and didn't buy several things because the model did not make them look good because of slouching and looking like they were going to be sick. Doesn't make me feel like wearing any of those clothes. :/
