What is the difference between all of these things? How do you know which one you should use?

Primer gets your skin ready for foundation in a variety of ways. can add matte-ness or shine, or color correct. also helps foundation go on smoother and last longer.

foundation: the base. evens skin and provides something to your makeup to "stick" to. can also correct any problems

concealor: covers or corrects any imperfections your foundation doesnt hide

setting powder: lets your makeup look smooth and less cakey (usually) helps prolong wear

setting spray: lets your makeup look less powdery/cakey, along with providing a matte or shine finish, helps prolong wear
